Merry Christmas!

As we get closer to Christmas, it looks like we may not have a White Christmas, so this picture is the best I can do! 2011 has been an eventful year.

    Leif started a new job at Comprehensive Speech and Therapy Center in January and it has kept him very busy.

  Bobbi continues to work at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. She has so many other activities as well, that she doesn’t know whether she is coming or going some days.

Callan is in first grade this year, which means lots of reading, math and school activities. In addition to school, she continues to go to dance every week. This summer, she began to take violin lessons. We recently attended her first recital, and she will perform in church on Christmas Eve.

Arthur Christmas

We went as a family to "Arthur Christmas" today. It wasn't our first choice. "Hugo" was the one we really wanted to see, but it seems like it is in kind of a limited release. Hopefully we will get to see it before too long.
  So "Arthur Christmas" was our compromise movie. It was cute; our six year old was engaged throughout, and I was amused. It was over before I got tired of it.

Here We Are

  This is my personal blog. I'm not sure what direction I will take this, but maybe the destination is less important than the journey.
  In the coming weeks and months I hope to discern a direction to take with this venture. There are some ideas percolating in the noggin. We'll see. Please check back and hopefully there will be some interesting content!
